Cari-CAT-ure #1

Here's the first of what will hopefully be a few caricatures (send in your photos, people! I'm in sore need of practise in this area!). Done with a 0.5mm mechanical pencil and some very quick Photoshop colours:



I actually had another version sitting on my computer for a couple of weeks now, just waiting for a couple of finishing touches - I kept thinking that it wasn't quite right. Then last night I found myself thinking "buggerit" and whipped this one out in a little over an hour. The good part is that as I redid it, I also had my webcam running and made a quick sketch video to go along with it. I can't say whether or not anyone else would find the video interesting, but I certainly learned a lot from rewatching it a few times.
